Exactly a week ago, I turned sixteen. Birthdays stopped being a big deal a while ago to me, but sixteen is supposed to be special, so I’m very thankful for all of you who texted/wrote on my facebook wall/im-ed/called etc. and wished me a happy birthday. Thank you for remembering. Thank you for actually caring about this nobody dork :D . For those of you who forgot or just plain do not care, there’s always next year.

Instead of a birthday cake, I got a dozen boxes of cupcakes from my mom! ♥ But I did eventually get a real birthday cake from Billa and Diandra who came over to my house as a surprise (thank you so so so very much, you guys are definitely on my list of most favorite people :) ). Had lots of fun, and then I want out to dinner with my extended family. As for the presents, I got new high heels (lololol haha i know right, my parents :’D my mom is always fussing about my shortness) and a new dress, and I’m pretty happy with both. But by far my favorite present was a pair of heirloom earrings from my Grandma, it’s been in my family for quite a while and I’m so happy that she decided to pass it down to me.

All in all that was a pretty sweet birthday, even though I was a tiny bit dissapointed for reasons that I’m not going to write down here (way to be vague naila -___-). Hopefully 16 will be wayyy better than 15, because 15 was kind of a trainwreck.
